There are two on-board RAM areas. The cartridge has a RAM space (often battery backed).
- A000:BFFF Cartridge RAM (if any)
- C000:CFFF Fixed RAM bank 0
- D000:DFFF Internal RAM bank 1-7 (switchable on CGB only)
- FF80:FFFE High RAM (HRAM)
